Skreens Lets You Surf While You Play all on One Screen

Skreens has launched two devices that will now allow you TV viewers to watch about four different sources on one single screen. The tiny boxes from Skreens named the Nexus Two and Nexus Four has been designed to blend together

  • Streaming TV
  • Broadcast
  • TV
  • Game Consoles and any suitable HDMI video source

All this in one interface. This is like being able to watch a football game, Netflix, YouTube and a video game screen all together on one screen at the same time. It also allows viewers to switch between the screens according to their will. This can be quoted as the first truly smart TV experience. This is something gamers would look for, as they could game and also browse at the same time.

Skreens

 Skreens allows you to seamlessly combine multiple HDMI signals all into one high definition output and no lag involved. This lets you have  XB1, PS4, Chromecast, Roku, GoPro and any other HDMI source all together at one time. It also has a built in browser that you don’t need a separate PC. It comes with so many capabilities and unlimited video frames in real time composited.

Make all your pixels count on your 4K display and output your game and camera, web to Twitch or YouTube and have control over the layout.

Skreens Feat

Screens is powered by the Skreens Media Accelerator. It is one of the most powerful chips that is available as of today. It has the horsepower to blend HD streams in a single interface. So there will be a zero lag and you can customize virtually different devices on the web.

 The devices come with:

  • HDMI inputs depending on the backer reward you choose
  • You can chain together as many as you need
  • Chain together 2 four-port units together and put 8 HDMI inputs on a single screen if you want
  • With a built-in web browser and WiFi, you can put web content up on the screen next to your HDMI inputs

Nexus Four Pro

 Nexus Four Pro is going to deliver multi-channel audio mixing! Up to 5 digital audio feeds that includes Dolby 5.1 surround.  There is a Skreen Controller app through which you can control the audio mixing . Also through the API you can control the audio mixing, You will also get linear PCM 5.1 output. The user can select the primary audio channel to transmit out the HDMI and optical S/PDIF outputs to your home audio system – all other audio outputs are available as streaming output via WiFi. And you can even stream audio channels to your iPhone or tablet to listen on your individual earbuds or headphones.The Nexus Four Pro will also have 10/100/1000 Ethernet RJ45.

The Application

 It is so simple, you just have to plug and play. You can use the iOS and Android app to control what to display on the screen, where it should be displayed and how big each display should be. There are also predefined outputs that can be used. You can also create own size for outputs. The RESTful API facilitates designers to make own controls.

The Units

 You can choose from the Basic units (Nexus Two and Nexus Four). The Pro version is designed for streamers. It gives you more control of how to display the contents. There is a Universal Remote Control that is compatible with HDMI inputs and can be controlled directly from the Android or iOS Skreens Controller app, Streaming Audio Over WiFi or Bluetooth is also possible. There is full acess to the Developer API, where you can create your  own controller.

Streamer Must Haves properties like Video scaling, priority, cropping, chroma-key and transparency.

Availability

Skreens will be available through retail only by late 2016. It will be available with full USB support for headsets, cameras and other features enabling better performance.
